The final year of college is, for many, a time full of memories, reflection, and emotion. Seniors like Jonah Ogunsanya are known to never take a moment for granted and to reflect on the moments that got them to where they are today.

Over the past few years of coaching, Coach Dunnam has become known on the team for his approachable coaching style and his ability to motivate and bring the most out of his players.
“Getting to this amount of wins is a team effort and means a lot to the program because it’s something that hasn’t happened in a long time. It’s something that will help us moving forward,” said senior, Diego Idrobo.
Bristol was then asked why she chose to come to this university specifically, in which she said, “Honestly, the team and coach were very welcoming. It felt different from my experience with other visits.”
Averbeck’s role as a mental toughness coach involves building the confidence of her players mentally and helping them see things from a different perspective.
“Practices with the new coach have a faster pace and higher intensity. There’s a strong sense of structure and focus that helps everyone stay engaged and work hard throughout practice,” said returning sophomore, Lizzy Biller-Skogstad.
“Jada is an all-around amazing athlete, but she’s also a great person. She’s really fun to be around. She brings a lot of energy to the team, and she also tells us when we need to pick it up–in which we do. She’s also a great captain,” first-year player, Maddi Quist said.
Going into her third year of hosting the Viterbo Softball Clinic, Alonzo finds comfort in working with young softball players and giving them lifelong and meaningful lessons.
