Founded by Sr. Celestine Cepress and established in 1954, Lumen serves as Viterbo University’s student-run campus newspaper, which is funded through Viterbo’s Student Government Association and advertisement revenue. Its purpose is to provide communication among members of Viterbo, including reports on campus events, concerns, and other information of interest to the community. It should stimulate thinking, serve as a forum for opposing views on issues, and show the relationship of the campus to city, national, and world events.
